This old townhouse has been restored a few years ago, maintaining its authentic style. Access to the house is directly from the main street, through a gate into a short private alley, remembering the old, narrow Arabic streets of Andalusia. The house is close to the Palacio de San Benito, the old Monastery of the order of Calatraba (XVI century), and Hospital for the pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago. Distance to the public swimming pool is only 300m and it is only 500m to the centre of town, monuments and walking tracks.
To match the house with its beautiful surroundings, we dedicated a lot of effort to the decoration, with antique doors from the XVII century, bedrooms in Isabellian style, marble columns, cloister chairs, hand-made baskets and pottery, barrels and carafes, sculptures, charcoal drawings of our times at the art school. All the rest of the inventory has been personally selected to fit in; the sun-blinds, Ronda style furniture, scarves from the Alpujarras, and books about Cazalla and the typical flora and fauna of the Sierra Morena, etc.
We managed to have everything is in a perfect state of maintenance, as besides being collectors, we are professional restaurateurs. Especially to be mentioned are the big round bath tub under the vault and the big arch that emerges from the floor in the living room, with the main bedroom behind it. Including the patio with all its plants and flowers, this is a true paradise, where you hear the frogs' ion from the nearby creek or the storks on the church tower at the corner of the street. A perfect place to be at ease and relax.
